is new fin a nonprofit?

New Fin IS NOT a NONPROFIT 501(c)(3). New Fin is incorporated as an LLC. Though we are not a nonprofit I do not monetize from the sale of shirts and donations. I do not financially profit from New Fin.

who we help

New Fin works with teenagers ages 13-19 around the world. I found a more meaningful connection when interacting with teenagers. I can relate with them as a fellow teenager who has gone through the experience.

About mentoring

"Mentoring" is a broad term I use to describe the relationship as I interact with teenagers recovering from brain surgeries. The relationship would be best described as a friendship, in which we (the recipient and I) are able to grow and learn from a similar traumatic experience.

how old are you?

I am 18 years old. I was 14 years old when I had my surgery.
